:/

I have a confession to make. I am absolutely terrified that my Disney interview did not go well.

I didn’t feel like I connected with my interviewer. Literally from the moment I started talking to her I felt that she was bored and not engaged. It was totally just a Q&A interview, not a conversation like my past 2 Disney interviews were. Not like all the rest of my D-Fams seem to have gone. It scares me. I can't imagine not getting accepted again. I was and still am a wonderful employee. But what if I don't? Or what if I don't get a role I want? I would do Merch, but I really don't want to. I want to stay in entertainment.

I pray that I am psyching myself out. I pray that perhaps my former/current managers get contacted and get to share some rave reviews. I pray that I am going to get accepted and I will look back on this and think “You freaked out over nothing!” But right now all I am is scared. I’m also sick and therefore not at school and have nothing to distract me.

Uggles, urgh, blerg, blah!

  1. I know exactly what you mean. I thought my interview went great at first, but now I am not too sure. I have nothing to compare it to in terms of past interviews so I thought it went very well. BUT reading everybody else's recaps of their interviews makes me nervous because mine was definitely just a Q and A session. It was short, and while I feel my answers were great, it was far from a back and forth conversation with laughter and magic lol. Maybe it was just the interviewer or that it was 10 at night but who knows. Good luck to both of us though!

  5. You're not alone. My interview didn't go swimmingly either, and felt closer to a formulaic question-answer session than a conversation. Seems to be a running theme, huh?

I'll bet it was no reflection on you, though, and that you did a lot better than you think. Hope you see a purple folder soon!

  6. It makes me feel better to know other people had the Q&A style interview. I know there is nothing I can change and that my interview really isn't as bad as I think it is. But all of the nice comments really did make me feel better. :) TY!
