"My 7 month season with the mouse is coming to a close. My days are numbered... 9 to be exact. The fact that I am leaving just makes my heart heavy. I don't want to leave this magical place yet. I don't want to leave the wonderful people I have met. I just dont know how I am going to survive the next couple of weeks."
So that was the beginning of a post I never finished. Per usual. lol And I can say that leaving Disney is by far the hardest thing I have ever had to do. Now that may sound a bit melodramatic but I am serious. I didn't have a hard time going off to college and I didn't have a hard time leaving college (and friends and fam) to go to Orlando. But leaving Orlando was incredibly difficult, painful, and sad. I'm not one of those crazy Disney people whose life revolves around the Mouse Man and all that his company entails. I simply loved my job, the people I worked with, the friends I collected, and the life that I made in Orlando.
I have left a part of myself in Orlando and already have plans to reunite myself with it in a little over a year. Thats right folks. If I haven't already said it to you or written it in this blog somewhere (I'm far to lazy to go back through and read to see if I have) I am going to apply for the Fall 2011 program. I might perhaps do a Fall Advantage. It just kind of depends if I can manage to graduate on time in May or if I have to take an extra class or two in the summer.
So as I predicted when I started this blog (way back in November of 09. That is like 9 months ago!) I am not just going to have one season with the Mouse. But at least 2. Go me for having the foresight to put that 's' at the end of season. I obviously wont be able to do another college program after this next one but who knows if I will stay with the Mouse for a few years and try to make a real job out of something I love. Then that 's' might really come in handy.
Because I am so Disney obsessed I have already joined the Fall/Fall Advantage 2011 group. I actually joined it back in June. I am already posting like a fiend in that group and have also joined the chats. I love that anticipation feeling. I love talking to people who are just as excited about the program, Disney, and the thought of working at the happiest place on earth.
The only difference this time around is that I know exactly what I am getting myself into. I know how wonderful the program can be if you put the effort in. I also know what I am going to do different this time. I am going to take the time to do non-Disney things. I am going to not be a bum and turn down offers to hang out with people after work. I am also going to take advantage of the fact that some Spring 2010 people who I should have hung out with more are going to do Fall 2011. I'm going to actually hang out with those people! (That means you Marina, Lauren, Joey, and Karen!)
Maybe for my next post (which will of course come like 2 months from now.) I will make a list of the things I am going to do that I didn't do the first time around. Because honestly looking forward to going back is about the only thing keeping me from the black pit of despair that leaving opened up.
That is all for now. I am hoping posting in this blog will help fill my Disney void. I guess we shall see.
:)

The last days....
The last days of my college program were a very odd experience. I knew it wasn't the end for me because I was staying as a seasonal CM but all of the people I had become closest to were leaving me. I also still had to pack up and move out of Chatham which was both exciting and sad.
On Wednesday I worked my last shift as a CP. In an amusing twist of fate I worked my last day at the Hat which also happens to be the place I worked my first shift out of training. I was Hat attendant 7 which meant that instead of breaking a location after lunch and then doing evening sets I did "magical moment" sets and was finished at 3. The magical moment sets for that day were the weirdest and most amusing thing I have ever done as a character attendant. Unfortunately because they were so magical I can't actually write what made them so special but it is definitely one of those Disney experiences I will remember forever. They also resulted in my first Great Service Fanatic cards which are basically like a Disney kudos type thing. I got mine for "going above and beyond during meet & greets." Basically I made some international cps last day really special. :)
On Wednesday evening I went to Fantasmic! with some of my training group friends. As with all of the times when we attempted to get the whole (or most) or the group together, things when wrong and only a few people showed up. We weren't originally supposed to go to Fantasmic! which is probably why so few people came. But the cool thing about having the small group was that we got to have a special meet and greet with some Fantasmic! characters.
Top: Jess, Pocahontas, Mickey, Katelynn, Robert (not from my training group)
Bottom: Caitlyn, Gianna, Dopey, & Me
I spent most of Thursday packing my room up and then moving stuff to my new place. It probably took much longer than it should have because I am the world's worst packer. Seriously. After I had dropped off some of my stuff at my new place I went to Magic Kingdom to meet my friends Gianna and Will. We rode on Big Thunder Mountain and then met up with our other friend Lindsey and her parents to watch Spectromagic. We acted like complete goons the whole time and screamed the characters names when they went past us. This usually produces good results and this was no exception. Halfway through the parade we got a little boy who was probably 3 or 4 to sit with us. He ended up getting lots of characters coming up to him because we acted like asses. I think my favorite picture I caught was of Donald Duck jumping because we were chanting "Donald's Number 1!" His bow tie was already falling off and when he started jumping it totally came off. :) best picture ever!
After Spectro Gianna, Will, and I ran to the front of the Castle to watch Wishes. It was kinda like a repeat of our last night of training except not everyone was there and those of us who were, were not standing together. I think the hub (the area around the statue of Walt and Mickey) was like 90% CPs and everyone was crying. It was super sad. After wishes we met some of our friends in front of Walt and Mickeys statue. We hugged and cried and said goodbye. It is quite possibly one of the saddest things I have ever been through. I grew really close to my training group and to have to say goodbye to them was just heartbreaking. The worst part is it didn't hit me till the next day.
My lovely girls Luz, Lindsey, and Gianna. <3
On Friday I got up bright and early (totally against my will) and started packing the rest of my stuff. My wonderful friend Josh came to help me pack and move everything. Once everything was loaded up into my car I went to turn in my apartment key, housing id, and parking decal. I almost cried when I had to do that. Sheer force of will stopped the tears. Josh and I drove over to my new place and we unloaded my stuff and then attempted to organize. Attempted is the key word here because it took me until well after Josh had left to do it.
Like I mentioned in the last post I have been in limbo since my program ended. I am still in Orlando but I haven't worked since last Wednesday. I haven't hung out with any other cps since I moved. I feel really isolated and it kinda sucks. My training group buddy Ryan Frisinger is a musician and I have both of his cds on my iTunes. Anytime they come on I get sad because it reminds me of everyone who left me. I am really looking forward to Saturday which will be my first day back to work. I never thought I would ever look forward to going back to work, but I totally am.
That is all for now. More posts soon! (because 2 in one day just isn't enough)

The end is near... or is it just a new beginning?
So I am basically the worst blogger known to man. Its true. I haven't updated in like 5 years and so much has happened. The end of my college program has come and gone. I'm still in Orlando though. I currently have a bunch of free time though so perhaps I can convince myself to write a whole lot of entries in the next few days to catch up.
I guess the most important thing to write about is the fact that I am staying in Orlando for a few more months. My plan coming into the program was to leave in May at the end of my program and return to Austin. I thought that I would live in my new apartment and take classes at ACC over the summer. I didn't finalize the living arrangements until like February or March. When registration time rolled around I found out that my roomie wouldn't be in Austin over the summer. I totally can't afford rent on my own so my plan for living in Austin over the summer went down the drain.
I kinda assumed I would be in Austin taking the 2 classes I need to stay on track to graduate in May. By the time I realized that wasn't going to work I it was to late to extend my program. When everyone started getting responses about their extension requests I kicked myself for not extending. At that point I thought I would be living in Houston at home over the summer taking at least one of the classes I needed online and trying to find a job. I decided I didn't want to go home to that boring situation and found a way to stay in Orlando just a bit longer.
My solution? Become a seasonal ("casual temporary") cast member. I talked to my manager and based on my record card I was already on a list to automatically roll into seasonal status. So I could just give open availability until the date I wanted to leave and be placed on the schedule. I had to find someplace to live since I couldn't stay in CP housing after my program end date. I searched around, thought I had found something, discovered it was super far away, kept searching and then eventually found something.
I currently reside in a house in Davenport, Fl which is about 20 mins away from work. I live with 3 other girls who are all former CPs. Allison owns the house and works with the Disney Vacation Club and does room pricing (or something like that...) Lauren is doing a professional internship and is a manager in one of the resorts ( I can't remember which one at the moment). Brittney, like me, just finished her CP although she had extended her program. I am not sure exactly what she is doing now but I know she worked in a resort.
For the most part I like the living arrangements so far. I didn't give availability far enough in advance to be put on the schedule for the last week. So I haven't worked in a week and am not scheduled to work till Saturday. I have never wanted to work so badly in my whole entire life. I am pretty much bored out of my mind. My CP id expired on the 14th and I was not able to get a new one until the 16th but because that was a Sunday and Access Control is not open Sat or Sun I had to wait until Monday to get my id. That meant I couldn't go to any of the parks. :P That SUCKED! But on Monday I went with my friend Josh to Access Control and got my new pretty red ID that says Marion is a seasonal cast member. yay! :) eventually I will take a pic of it and post it on here for everyone to see.
I feel like this post is long enough so I will write a separate one about the last couple of days of my CP.

First Celebrity Citing!
So I had my first celebrity siting today! It was seriously the best celebrity I could have seen too. While working with the Yellow Power Ranger I saw... JOEY FATONE! yes thats right a man who was in my all time favorite boy band. A man that if given the chance I would hug and tell him how very happy his music made/makes me.
Unfortunately I was not able to do that or even acknowledge who he was because I was in costume and cast members are not allowed to treat celebrities like they are anything other than a normal guest. Which is oddly ironic considering we (meaning cast members not necessarily me) escort them to rides and stuff backstage because we don't want them getting mobbed.
But back to my Joey sighting. I had to help out with the Power Rangers because for whatever reason they were down an attendant and I was working at Cars which means I was going to help with the Rangers anyway (because that is what the closing attendants do at Cars... help the PR attendants with their last set.) So I was with the Yellow Ranger and the Captain came over and said something about not worrying about asking the man sitting on the planter thingy that the Yellow Ranger stands by to move because he was obviously sitting with a sleeping baby. I glanced at the guy but then went back to attending.
A rather amusing thing about me is that when I am working I have complete tunnel vision. I don't really pay all that much attention to the guests outside the group that is immediately near me whether that be with the characters or who is up next in line. Which means that it is totally possible to sneak up on me but that is a bit of a side note.
The Captain waved me over a few mins later and mentioned that the guy he had told me not to worry about was Joey Fatone. He said that they had made eye contact after he walked away and that he had recognized him because he had met him before. I then freaked out a little on the inside and mentioned that I was a HUGE fan back in the day. He said that if I was a fan I would recognize him but to be sly about checking him out. Well check him out I did and I am not going to lie my stomach did a flip flop. Seeing him totally made my day!
So I spent 30 mins alternating between working and geeking out. Mind you I had to geek out on the inside. The Captain said I held it in very well. lol
Thats all for my celebrity siting. It was awesome and probably wont be topped.

Friends!... and enemies?
I know I haven't posted in a while which sucks but I really haven't felt like I have much to talk about. My days are mostly the same and nothing really happens that I think anyone would want to hear about. I know that probably isn't true so I am planning on writing a day in the life blog.
However that is not what this post is about. This post is about the random people I have met through work. The ones I love and the ones I want to shank with a very pointy spork. I am going to give everyone pseudonyms because there is an off chance that they might read this. And that would be awkward when I go back to work and they then know that I either want to give them lots of hugs or want to strangle them slowly.
So enemies first. I shall call this person Bob. Why Bob?... well it is kinda close to the real thing and I can't come up with anything creative at this point. So why do I hate Bob and want to shank him with a spork or strangle him slowly? Quite simply because he is stupid and worthless and really really annoying. He is pretty much useless when it comes to his job. Working with him is like working by yourself. He just stands there and looks stupid. I have absolutely no idea how he managed to get the job he has. You have to have social skills to have his job but he has absolutely none. He is just plain socially awkward. Laughs at somewhat sexual things like a juvenile. Like when a child has a Woody (as in Toy Story) toy and I say "I see you have a Woody toy, is he your favorite?" and Bob giggles or tells me SHHH! Seriously.. that isn't even funny. Its juvenile and annoying and FRIGGIN STUPID! So that is Bob. Working with him makes me angry. :/ grrrr
Now on to people I love! YAAAAAAY! There is a lot of people I could put here because I love a lot of the people I work with. However I only have amusing stories/reasons for loving a select few. The first person is J (very creative.. I know). J is in entertainment (like me) and I love him because he makes me laugh. He does things that he is totally not supposed to but are quite amusing in places where guests could in theory see him doing them. (If that isn't cryptic I donno what is..) Another person I lurv is M. Ninja (oo creative! :D) He also does funny stuff in places which make the things he does funnier. He also dances with me and gives me hugs. I am totally a sucker for hugs.
Last but so totally not least on my lurv list is Red. I adore Red. I seriously just want to squish them. Red really just makes me happy. When I was having a really bad day in the not so distant past seeing Red just made the day better. It was still a poop-tastic day but it was slightly better because I got to talk to Red. Red, like J, makes me laugh. They poke fun at me which for what ever reason makes me laugh. They are super sweet. When I was not feeling well recently they rubbed my shoulders. It didn't really make me feel all that much better but it was nice that they tried to make me feel better. This person took me under their wing and helped me do my job while doing their own. If that didn't make me love them then the fact that they play with me while doing their job would have. Seriously this person is awesome. And if this sounds like a romantic love... it is not. It is more of an "I want to squoosh you" love. I really just want to hug them because they make me happy. :)
The common factors between the people I love? They play around with me, make me laugh, and give me hugs. Obviously it is quite simple to win my heart. Perhaps more people should try to.... It would at least be fun for me! :D

... So I realize that the above post is rather cryptic and useless to pretty much everyone outside of myself but I must say that I don't really care. This is just going to have to be one of those posts for me so I will remember the things that matter to me now smack in the middle of my program.

I LOVE MY JOB!
:) I have to say I think I have the best job you could have while on the College Program. Now I am sure some people would disagree, perhaps those in attractions who work on rides like Tower of Terror or Jungle Cruise, but can they say they get to hang out with Mickey Mouse all day? I don't think so! But I do! :)
Yesterday I got to hang out with Mickey Mouse. The day before I got to hang out with Minnie, Goofy, Carl, Russell, Doug (from UP!), Mulan, Belle, and Jasmine. What could possibly be cooler than working with Characters all day? And if that isn't awesome enough for you I also get to watch little kids excitedly meet those characters. I have seen a little boy wait in line 3 times so he could spend lots of quality time with Lightening McQueen and Mater (from Cars). On Wednesday when I was working with Russell, Carl, and Doug I met a little boy whose favorite character was Russell. He even had a shirt on that had patches just like Russell does. It was so cute watching them interact.
While I do have lots of fun at my job I think it is also a job where you can have lots of people disappointed in you. I have already had one family get mad at me because Mickey had to go get a bite of cheese. He was going to come right back but they didn't want to wait. It was a Brazilian group of 13 and they kept asking for just one group photo. I had to keep telling them he had to leave but would be right back but then ended up leaving the line anyway. They were probably saying unhappy things but it was in Portuguese so I didn't understand (and didn't care either). :)
Random side note for the post... When I worked with Lightening and Mater on Sunday I was only one day out of Training and working with another attendant who was on his first day. Neither one of us had much of an idea of what we were doing so the Mid-day Manager was showing us the ropes. We had a few mins of down time so we were all in the break room watching My Big Fat Greek Wedding which was on ABC Family. I said something about how I really like that movie and my manager responded he did too. I then said that back in the day I was a big NSYNC fan so I really LOVED the movie because Joey Fatone was in it. My manager kind chuckled and then said that he was actually friends with Joey and he comes to the parks kinda often. Let me just say that on the inside I totally flipped out and was geeking out with glee. On the outside I acted normal but that story seriously made my day. I now have hope that perhaps I will get to see Joey Fatone and if the stars really line up perhaps even take a picture with him. Although that last part is highly unlikely (even more so than meeting him!)
That is all for now!

Fun in the Sun!
Well it has been a little cloudy lately but I have still had a lot of fun! In the last week I have gone to all 4 parks. On Tuesday night I went to Magic Kingdom for Wishes (fireworks show) to celebrate finishing training. On the way back from MK we rode the ferry! It was the first time I had ever done that.. or at least that I remember. :)
Here is a pic from MK! My new friends Luz, Lindsey, and myself with our ice creams! yum!
On Wednesday I went to Animal Kingdom to visit some friends who were finishing up training. I went all by myself which was odd but actually really nice. After meeting some characters and seeing my friends I just kinda walked around. I walked the path under the tree and then rode Everest all by myself. I sat behind a nice couple who were just engaged and next to the bride-to-be's mother. She was just as freaked out as I was so that was nice.
This picture is from a photopass photographer so it is a bit blurry (because I haven't paid for it). I was walking to give Br'er Bear a hug. It is also my favorite picture so far.
On Thursday after I went to Hollywood Studios orientation/tour I went to Epcot with my friends Bianca and Marina. I also met/made some new friends Todd and Rachel (I think that was her name). So this next picture is of Todd and Bianca getting ready to drink Beverly Soda. It an Italian soda that you can drink for free at Club Cool in Epcot (along with other sodas from around the world) Beverly is notoriously nasty and is described as being bitter. People almost always make funny faces when they drink it. :p gross.

Yesterday (Friday) I went to Hollywood Studios with my roommate Katie and then my friend Brian met us. We rode on Toy Story Mania, Tower of Terror, Backlot Tour, and on Rockin Roller Coaster twice. I LOVED Rockin Roller Coaster. Seriously the best thing ever. It isn't so much the roller coaster itself, which is actually kinda wimpy, but the fact that it is Aerosmith themed.
So that is all for this weeks park update! Well.. maybe. Who knows what I will end up doing in the next couple of days. I have Monday and Tuesday off so I might go visit a park then. I will leave you with another favorite picture of mine. This is from my last day of training. I loved working with these characters and my fellow Character Attendants in training.

Traditions and Training!
Hello my loves! As the title says this post is going to be about Traditions and Training. YAAAAAAAY! :)
As almost everyone will tell you Traditions is wonderful. It is really a great way to get you energized about working for Disney and helping make the most magical place on earth that much more magical. You get to hear stories that definitely energize you and make you want to start training so you can get out into your work area. There are some surprises built into the day that are well... surprising and fun! Look forward to them because they will be something you talk about afterwards.
My have two big suggestions for traditions. One, DO NOT FORGET YOUR PICTURE ID!! That is very very important. It must be state issued too! I accidentally forgot mine and ended up having to return later in the afternoon to receive my Disney ID. It was quite a pain and could have been totally avoided if I had simply remembered my driver's license. Suggestion number Two!... follow the Disney look. Dress up! It is better to be safe than sorry. As the lead trainer for Entertainment told me you only have a few chances to really dress up... take advantage of them! It will also prevent you from having to run to Costuming or being turned away.
Now on to Training! I started my training two days after I completed Traditions aka Friday. The first two days were meat and potatoes information with the last three days being in the parks on the job training. I have had one trainer that has been with my group since Friday. Her name is Trina and she is super awesome. We have had a rotation of other trainers but yesterday and today we had a trainer named Jamson with us. I think I spelled his name right... Trina and Jamson are wonderful and have done a great job at making me feel really comfortable with my new job. Which by the way is a lot harder and more stressful than I think most people realize. I obviously can't really talk about all the things that we do but please remember that your Character Attendant is working very hard to help make your time with the Disney Characters very special. If you decide to tell them thank you, I am very sure they would appreciate it.
While training has been very fun it has been quite tiring. I literally went to bed last night at 9:30 pm. I would have gone to bed at like 8:30 but I had to take a shower. lol And in case anyone is wondering that was my transition to ending this post. I need to take a shower and get ready for bed. :)
Love you all!! (seriously I do. Promise)

Check-in Day Insanity!
I am finally able to sit down and blog!! yaaay!
I guess I will start with check in day. My roommates and I went out to dinner the night before check-in. We decided to get there at 7, a hour before check-in. Mom and I got up at the crack of dawn (aka 5:45 am) to get ready for the day. We met up in the parking lot across from Vista Way. We were defiantly the first people there. We sat in our cars till like 7:50 then we walked across the street to stand near the security gate. By this point the parking lot was full and people were lining up in their cars outside of gate.
At like 8:04 someone came to lead us to the welcome center (which is near the back of the complex). Unfortunately they also let the cars in so a few people managed to get in front of us. grrrrrr. But it was really not that big a deal.
So basically at check-in you get a name tag and some paperwork to fill out and you are then talked through the first little bit of paperwork. Then you go to another table to get turn one of the pages in and then you are let into a room. In the room you get to do all the cool stuff like get your housing ID and your housing assignment.... and other stuff.
After checking in I got to go back to our apartment. yaaay! We live in Chatham in building 25. For those who are curious that would be in the back right corner of the complex. I only had like and hour to unpack (not enough time to get everything situated) before I had to go to the Casting Office to finish paperwork. I found out my work location (Hollywood Studios), met one of my trainers and found out my training schedule, and got fingerprinted! (so excited about that last one!)
After Casting I finally got to eat! and I also unpacked some more. At 2:45 I had to go to the Housing meeting. It was pretty much like a res hall meeting but with Disney apartment centered stuff. After the meeting, Mom and I unpacked some more and then went to Target and Walmart. We then went back to the apartment and finshed unpacking/organizing. I stayed with Mom that night because she left the next day. :(
The next day (Tueday) I had to go to a meeting at 12 about the Disney classes. We also got to register early at the end of the meeting. I registered for the Corporate Analysis class. It looks really interesting. The class beasically analyzes Disney as a corporation, which means its all about Disney! :) Not a bad way to get 3 credits for school. The meeting ended up running over by 30 mins so registration ran over by 30 mins. By the time I was finished it was 2 pm and I had to rush back to the hotel to help Mom check out of the hotel.
After she checked out we went to the outlet mall to get me the black shoes I need for my costume. We went to a few different stores but ended up finding a pair at the Naturalizer store. They are all black, no logos, and most importantly comfy!
After we got my shoes I drove Mom to the airport. I navigated with the help of Bossy (the GPS). I am not going to lie, I was a bit sad when she left. I am always like that when I have to take someone to the airport and they are leaving not for a trip but because they live some place else. It is easier when they just drive away because it seems like they could just drive back. For some reason flying seems more final.
Tips for Check-in:
Check in really starts at 8. --- the website LIES!
Have your name on your insurance for your car! ---very important
I am going to do a separate post about Traditions because this one seems to be quite long. Random but... I am about to go to the Magic Kingdom for the first time since being here. YAAAAY!
That is all....

I made it to Flordia!
Chipley, Florida to be exact. Mom and I left Houston at 8:45 this morning. A bit later than we had planned because we had to go get my car inspected. I realized at 1 am (when I was checking my registration sticker) that my inspection sticker was going to expire this month. AHHHH! (that was me freaking out) So Mom got up at 6ish to get to the local Firestone at 7 so we could get my car inspected. 45 mins later my car was good to go.
Moral of this story... REMEMBER TO CHECK YOUR INSPECTION STICKER BEFORE YOU LEAVE! preferably earlier than 1 am the night before.
So we were able to get on the road and run for the hills (or Disney... whichever). We stopped in Covington (north of NOLA on I-12 for those who don't know) to drop some stuff off to my aunt. We finally made it to Chipley at around 6:3o, 10 hrs after we started.
Random but on the way we saw a ridiculous amount of police cars. I wasn't really counting but I would have to say it was in the 20s somewhere. Probably in the high 20s. At one point I thought I was going to get pulled over. I had passed a cop (I was going exactly the speed limit) and he pulled out behind me. He then passed me and a few other cars before getting back in the right lane and then finally pulling back over to the shoulder. When I passed him the second time he wooped his siren and turned his lights on so I pulled over but he passed me again and got another car that was behind me. Scared the pe-diddles out of me! Especially since I was going under the speed limit by 2mph at that point. eeeeeek!
The journey continues tomorrow. Till then keep warm! (Its 29 with a wind chill of 18 in Chipley)

Victory Vlog!
I haven't posted any vlogs on here yet but I do make them (occasionally). I started a "victory dance" vlog back in September when I received my purple folder but I never finished it. I filmed the dance portion but never did anything else with it. Since I got a new video camera I decided to finish it. I look like a complete and utter goon but I think it displays my excitement over getting accepted into the program. It also is quite funny and it makes me laugh to watch it which is always a good thing in my book. This is actually the original version of the vlog. I had to change the song for youtube b/c they didn't like it (aka the took out the audio for copyright reasons)
So here it is! Hope it makes you laugh!

Packing sucks
**Just in case the first part of this doesn't make sense... I started writing this last Saturday so the first 2 paragraphs are from that time.**
I really really really hate packing. In the last 2 days I have pretty much packed most of my life up and either placed it in storage.. or in my car. It was painful.
I had to move all of my stuff out of my RA room. My mom came up to help me but we did the vast majority of packing after 7pm on Friday night. We then packed up the little bit that was left this morning and stuck it all in a u-haul to bring to my storage unit. Everything will be stored till around May when I will move into an apartment with my Freshmen year roommate and her younger sister.
I made a list of everything that I would need to bring with me but honestly it didn't make packing much easier. Separating everything into Orlando, Home, and Storage piles was just a pain in the bum. I was able to talk to Katie (my roommate) the night before to figure out what shared stuff each of us would bring.
I managed to get most of it in the car but I will definitely need to reorganize so that my mom, her suitcase, and a tv can fit in the car. I went and purchased some of those space bags and plan on using them to get all of my clothes into one suitcase. I put all of my bedding in it including my comforter, down comforter, sheets and towels and it all fit.
My list of stuff to bring in case anyone is curious:
Bedding
Thats all for now. Hopefully I can make a vlog soon. I asked Santa for a camcorder for Christmas. :D

Audition 2.0!
AHHH! My audition for character performer is tomorrow. I am not freaking out per say but I am anxious and am definitely thinking about it. I am worried that I will die because I am out of shape. I at least had a dance class last time to give me some endurance. Not this semester.
I have been working on my characterizations. I think I have perfected them a bit more this time around. I certainly hope they are the same situations that I was given last time. lol. I would love for them to be the same so I can worry more about the dance tomorrow. I would like to be in the second or third group. Beginning of second so I can watch the choreographer would be great however beginning of third would be equally awesome. I am coming prepped with all my mental info so I will be able to speed write and get my info card turned in quickly.
People who I know are going are arriving as early as 2:30. I am interested to see if this audition will be more or less crowded and if arriving that early is necessary. I certainly hope it isn't because I don't plan on getting there any earlier than 2:45. Most likely at 3:00. I figure if there is really a line already formed I can jump in line with some friends. lol. The pre line also doesn't really matter all that much since they sit you down first to explain how to fill out the paperwork. So speed will be my friend...and I am very speedy. BAHAHAHA!
In other random news... I am writing another paper about Disney for school. It is for my PR class and it has to be about a PR Campaign. I decided to do it on the PR aspect of the year of a million dreams campaign. It will be my third Disney paper. My First was a communication theory paper about George Herbert Mead's theory of the looking glass self and I and Me using the comparative tool of Disney Princesses and Cinderella in particular. The second paper was on the corporate culture of Pixar for my Organizational Communication class. By the time I graduate my Disney obsession will be readily apparent to all who look at my Comm Portfolio since I plan to use these papers in them since they are so awesome. I even have a professor using my Princess paper in that class as an example for other students. :D
That is all for today! I shall try to write tomorrow but that PR paper is due Thursday and I have done next to diddly squat on it. We shall see if I have the time to write.
TA-TA For now my loves!
PS: !! 68 days 9 hours 37 mins and tick tick tick seconds till 8am check in at Vista Way on Jan 11th!
